Whilst we have taken all reasonable care to ensure that the information contained within these pages is accurate and current, we do not accept any liability for errors or omissions. We reserve the right to add, amend or delete information from this site at any time. You are advised to contact us for verification should you wish to rely on any information. All orders are subject to availability. We reserve the right to refuse to supply to any individual or company. All products are subject to availability and may be changed at any time. If your order cannot be fulfilled you will be offered an alternative or given a full refund.

We improve our products and advertising by using Microsoft Clarity to see how you use our website. By using our site, you agree that we and Microsoft can collect and use this data. Our privacy statement has more details.

Internet & In-Store Pricing Policy

All prices are shown in £ sterling and are the prices for Online purchases only. 'In-Store' prices may vary from those shown on this Website. We will normally match our Online prices In-Store provided all products purchased are paid for in full at the time of ordering. We reserve the right to change any advertised prices at any time: If, by mistake, we have under priced an item, we will not be liable to supply that item to you at the stated price, provided that we notify you before we despatch the item to you. In those circumstances, we will notify the correct price to you so you can decide whether or not you wish to order the item at that price. Previously viewed prices via cookies on your computer will not be honoured and requests to do so will be refused. Sale prices are available only while stocks last.

Internet Price Matching Service

If you find a cheaper price on any of the products we sell, tell us before you make your purchase and we will do our best to match it provided:

  • The product is identical (including colour) and includes delivery charges
  • The product must be in stock and available for immediate delivery
  • The Company/Website selling the product is an Official Stockist of the product and not a reseller or an Internet Only company
  • The Product is brand new in the original packaging & not an ex-display item
  • We must be able to verify the offer

  • Your name
  • The product & price you are interested in purchasing - please enter this in the email subject box
  • The full URL of the internet site offering a better price (NOT a comparison site). We do not match Ebay, Amazon or online only traders.

We aim to reply to your email within 48 hours (Mon-Fri) except around Bank Holidays where it may take a little longer. Upon verifying the offer we will send you details on how to purchase the product at the lower price.

The offer is limited to one per product per customer and is not transferable and must be taken up within 1 working day of receipt and full payment will be required on placing the order.

Tax Charges

For orders made from the UK or the European Union, VAT is included in the prices shown (20% standard items, 5% VAT on Car seats and 0% VAT on Sleeping bags & Baby Clothing). We do not currently offer TAX free purchases to overseas visitors.

Credit Card Security

All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed. They are only decrypted by Sagepay who handle all our card processing and we never see the cardholders card details in full. They are not held in clear text on any web site.

Remittance Terms

We accept Visa, Mastercard and Debit cards and now also Paypal. If you would rather place your order over the phone, you may also call us with your credit card information, but we only accept payments up to £150 over the telephone.

Finance Orders

Please note for security reasons finance orders must be shipped to the address used for the finance application.

Bank Holiday Sale Terms and Conditions

Non UK Customers

Please note Finance is unavailable if you live outside the UK ,it is only available for UK customers.

We offer a maximum 12 month warranty on any product shipped outside the UK, if unsure on a particular products warranty please contact our sales team before ordering on 01202 730630 and they will be able to assist you

You can return nursery items up to 28 days after purchase. These include all pushchairs, car seats, highchairs and rockers. Assembled items and furniture items and wallpapers are non returnable. Nursery items that are returned to us are subject to a 15% restocking fee.

Promo Codes

We reserve the rights to withdraw promotion/discount codes at any time. Promotion codes are subject to product exclusions and some brands may also be excluded. Promotion codes only work on products that they are advertised with. Promotion codes may not work on items that are already on sale and are less than the RRP to begin with and some codes cannot be used in conjunction with finance options.

Delivery / Signature Disputes

In the case of a delivery which has been signed for but gone missing at the delivery address, or been requested for the parcel/s to be left in a 'safe' location and then gone missing an investigation will be started as this a criminal offence of theft from a property. the driver will be interviewed and go back to your address again to confirm where he left the parcel and then an investigation on the theft of this item will start. DPD / APC Security manager will start by asking if you and your neighbours if you/they have CCTV on their properties or vehicles to see if there is any footage of the theft from your property and then go from there. Possibly the police may have to be involved. Unfortunately this process can take upto 7 working days for this to complete. After this a Denial of receipt letter will be sent to you a you must sign and return it before any replacement will be sent out.

30 Days No Quibble Returns

At UK Baby Centre we offer a 30 day no quibble returns period on all products , if you change your mind provided the item is still in its original packaging with all labels attached and in a saleable unused condition. If the items were specially ordered in for you from a range that we don't normally stock then this does not apply and additional extra restocking fees may apply. Please allow up to 14 days for the refund to processed.

To process a return please use the contact form and provide your full name , order number and product you would like to return or you can also email us directly sales@ukbabycentre.com  or call 01202 730630.

You can either arrange the return at your own cost and risk with a courier of your choice or we can arrange collection for you at a cost of £25 per box (for furniture, up to £40 per box). Please arrange a return first and do not just send something back without notifying us first. Unfortunately if furniture has been assembled we are unable to accept it back for return , so please check the colour before assembly.

If you wish to return something that originally incurred a delivery charge such as a £4.95 charge for an order under £49.99 , Saturday delivery charge , or non UK Mainland / Scottish Highlands address this delivery charge would not be refunded and would be deducted from the order total.

NOTE: If you order multiple items and receive a free delivery for all orders over £49.99, a return of a non-faulty item which reduces the total order value to less than £49.99 will incur a charge of £4.95 to cover the original shipping fees that will be deducted from your refund amount.

Manufacturing Faults

If you have a manufacturing fault with your item within 30 days of purchase we will refund or replace the item for you - Exclusions, terms and conditions apply.

Items that develop a faulty after 30 days of purchase will be covered under a manufacturer’s warranty and we will ensure we rectify the fault accordingly or send out replacement parts. The length of your warranty depends on the brand but everything purchased through Bournemouth Baby Centre comes with at least a 1 year guarantee , please see Warranties and/or product instruction manual.

The manufacturer’s warranty only covers against manufacturing faults and does not cover the following:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Misuse such as, but not limited to, improper storage and product care
  • Maintenance and use other than that indicated in the user guide
  • Failure to follow the instructions in the user guide
  • Abuse, neglect, carelessness or accident
  • Modification or alteration of the product
  • Air transportation or freight damage
  • Damage to tyres such as holes, punctures or tears
  • Mounting or installation of third party products such as buggy boards that are not recommended by the manufacturer

Guarantee

All items purchased from UK BABY CENTRE are covered by a Guarantee* of at least 6 months. We match the manufacturer's guarantee so many products we sell are now guaranteed for 1, 2 or even 3 years! (for non UK customers please check).

The original receipt must accompany any Guarantee claim and the following rules apply:

  • The Guarantee is non transferable and only applies to the original purchaser of any product bought from UK BABY CENTRE when the original receipt is provided.
  • The Guarantee does not cover parts subject to normal wear and tear, such as tyres, inner tubes, foam handles and general fabric wear.
  • The Guarantee applies to manufacturing and material defects only under normal domestic use in the United Kingdom.
  • The Guarantee does not cover faults caused by factors outside the manufacturers control, including failure to follow the maintenance instructions and user guide, normal wear and tear, inappropriate use such as a single buggy being used for more than one child or the use of any 3rd party buggy boards, accidental or wilful misuse of the product, inappropriate storage methods and or inappropriate cleaning, modification or alteration of the product.**
  • The Guarantee only applies to the product only and does not cover any consequential losses – i.e. time or other products.
  • Any product which is found to be defective as defined within the Guarantee terms above will at UK BABY CENTRE's discretion be repaired by our approved service team or the original Manufacturer or we will supply spare parts to you free of charge or the product may be replaced with the same or a similar model to the same or similar specification. We regret we are unable to supply loan products whilst inspection and repairs are carried out but we aim to resolve your problem as quick as we possibly can, usually with in 7-10 days.
  • Please contact us and NOT the manufacturer should you get a problem with any product purchased from us.
  • All Return costs are initially at your expense but provided after inspection the fault is found to be within the Guarantee terms above we will refund any postage charges incurred and return the repaired product to you free of charge.
  • Please use Royal Mail Recorded delivery or Parcelforce Standard services which are available at any Post Office for returns (unless you have a cheaper Courier Service available to you). We will NOT refund in full any Premium Postal or Premium Courier services used. Goods which have been purchased or collected in our stores will need to be returned by the purchaser or at the purchaser's expense.
  • **If an item becomes damaged due to misuse or accidental damage, this will NOT be covered by the guarantee and you will be charged for the repair and or spare parts. If you have damaged an item accidentally, it is should be covered by your household insurance. In the event of a dispute as to the cause of the failure the manufacturer will arbitrate and their word will be final. Our guarantee does not affect your statutory rights. If a claim is made under Guarantee and the defect is NOT found to be defective as defined in the Guarantee terms above, UK BABY CENTRE reserves the right to charge the customer a £25.00 fee to cover the engineers time, replacement parts and couriers costs. In addition we will NOT refund any Postal or Courier charges incurred by you.
  • *Some manufacturers offer extended warranties if you register your product with them directly, so please check your instruction manual for further details.
  • Moving parts should be maintained on a regular basis and a lubricant such as a silicon spray or WD-40 should be applied to keep necessary parts running smoothly.
